Birth Her Way is here to empower women to trust in their body’s ability to birth. We will ensure that each mother is educated on common interventions so that she is able to make informed decisions regarding her care. We strive to create the safest birth space possible so that women feel comfortable and confident throughout their birthing journey.
It is our hope that, with education and advocacy, the infant and maternal mortality rate would decrease in the black community.

From the first moment I spoke with Sandy, I just knew she was the person I wanted as my doula throughout my FIRST time pregnancy journey. I love that she was very initiative and checked on me and reassured me to not hesitate with anything. When she was in the delivery with us and it was time for Baby J to come, it felt like she was just my cousin hanging out with me. I say that because she was very helpful in making me feel as comfortable as possible. And I DO NOT like hospitals. So with her there along side with my boyfriend it was just the best. AND thought this whole experience she kept us educated on everything going on, even in the delivery too. Shes just an amazing person. Thank you soooo much Sandy. We appreciate you to the fullest!!
Sandy was a great Doula! She provided me with the necessary tools and knowledge that I needed to successfully bring my baby boy earth side. Delivery happened quickly but I accomplished it the way I wanted to thanks to Sandy!
Sandra was our doula for the birth of our baby boy/first child in August 2021. The service Sandra provided prenatally, during labor & delivery, & postpartum was thorough & nothing short of amazing! Sandra answered all our questions day or night, & provided my husband with useful tools to help comfort me during labor. Sandra was professional & prepared with all the things we didn’t know we needed. The postpartum visits allowed my husband & I to get much needed rest. Seven months later & Sandra still checks in on our baby boy. We are so grateful to her for helping us navigate this beautiful, yet hectic, new time in our lives! ♥️
Sandra was an AMAZING doula! She made me feel comfortable, not only did she prepare me for labor but she also prepared my partner! She was so helpful along the way. She was very responsive, and answered any questions I had. When I have more kids I will definitely Hire Sandra again!!!
Sandra was phenomenal! Very friendly, patient and delicate with her services. She catered to my birthing plan and provided resources for placenta encapsulation for me when needed. Captured great moments and made my experience pleasant! Loved the pre and post gifts she offered as well. Looking forward to working with her in the near future!
