Virtual Services

We are very sensitive to the current time and understand that not every family wants to have in person contact during the pandemic. Unfortunately there are some hospitals that only allow for one support person. For those who still desire to have doula support we are offering virtual services. Families will still receive majority of the birth doula support minus in person presence and physical contact.

Birth Services

Whether you decide to birth at home, a birth center, or a hospital, Birth Her Way helps you to feel safe and confident as you enter the birth space. Prenatal visits allow for discussion about the stages of labor, what to expect after birth, comfort measures during labor, common interventions, and more. Birth plan assistance is provided so that the birth team is aware of your wishes. Support is given throughout birth and 1-2 hours after birth (immediate postpartum). One postpartum visit is provided to go over your birth experience, answer questions, and to offer support and referrals if needed.

Postpartum visits allow for a little extra support at home. We help with breast/bottle feeding, newborn care, emotional and physical recovery after birth, running errands, light household chores, and more. Postpartum support can also be infant care while you shower and take a much needed nap.
